Vacant Post: Sessional Youth Worker
Canongate Youth provides a range of services, opportunities and support to children and young people aged 5-25 in Southside, South and Central Edinburgh. As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering children and young people and providing quality youth work services we are seeking to recruit for the following post:
1 x Sessional Youth Worker (term time) @ £14 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and fun person who can support the delivery of our youth work services. The post holder will have experience of working with young people, delivering high quality activities and building relationships with young people and their families. Sessional staff may be required for; work outdoors, delivering play-based activities with children and young people; cover of our Open all Hours provision at the Commonwealth Pool on a Friday evening, facilitating activities such as swimming, a chill out space, sports and working with PT’s in the gym; cover of our universal youth work provision for young people aged 5-18. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships. We are looking for someone to help us work towards our outcomes and uphold the values of the organisation.
