Vacant Post: 1 x Youth Development Worker (Wellbeing & Employability)

£24,232 FTE – this post is for 28 hours per week fixed term until 29th July 2022 to cover maternity leave

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and fun person to lead on and deliver a programme of individual support and groupwork to young people aged 14 -24 years. This is a temporary post to cover maternity leave. The postholder will have strong interpersonal skills and experience providing training, learning and person-centred support and is able to develop positive relationships with young people. We are looking for someone to help us work towards our outcomes and uphold the values of the organisation.

This post is part time at 28 hours, with some level of flexibility in the hours worked. It will be based at our premises at South Bridge Resource Centre, but will also include work in schools, outreach, and some homeworking where appropriate.

The closing date for this post is 24th September 2021 at 12 noon.  Interviews will be held week commencing 27th September.

The post is subject to the receipt of two suitable references and membership of the PVG Scheme.
