Last Thursday, we had the absolute pleasure of recognising an extraordinary milestone within our Canongate Youth community. Shaun, our longest-standing and most dedicated volunteers, officially reached 30 years of service with CY.

Thirty years of turning up, supporting, listening, encouraging, and making a genuine difference in the lives of countless young people. Thirty years of giving his time, his energy, and his heart to ensure that every young person who walks through our doors feels valued, supported, and inspired.

Shaun’s commitment is nothing short of remarkable. His presence has shaped our programmes, strengthened our community, and supported generations of young people as they’ve grown, explored, and overcome challenges. Volunteers like Shaun are the backbone of Canongate Youth, and we truly couldn’t do what we do without him.
