Reel Youth Media Engaging With CY

We’ve been delighted to work with Reel Youth Media as they create an exciting short documentary on the story of Canongate Youth just as we turn 40 years old.

These incredibly gifted young filmmakers and creatives constantly impress with their vision, ambition and skills.

Using a range of skills they have been active in learning about using editing techniques in the studio including how to fix timing issues and the best ways to change the speed and tempo of a recording.

We are really interested to hear the final output of the soundtrack that the group has been recording in the music studio this week for the film.

Reel Youth Media is a project for young people aged between 12 – 19 years old which aims to develop technical and creative skills whilst supporting young musicians, performers and youth music service providers to create innovative digital media content.
